More than a walk, this is a powerful act of hope and solidarity, embodying Palm Springs' deep-seated belief in universal respect and the non-negotiable demand for equality. 
Flaggers will be an active part in the walk and dedication.

THE WALK

Flaggers arrive at 8:00 AM
8:30 AM step off in the Arenas District and walk through downtown Palm Springs. 
Flaggers will have music at the monument.
Return to Arenas for music, food, drinks, and a great time.

FRANCIS STEVENS PARK

The LGBTQ+ Monument is a visible and lasting tribute to the contributions of the LGBTQ+ community to the City of Palm Springs. It will be unveiled to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Pride in Palm Springs. This civil rights sculpture incorporates three long-recognized symbols of gay solidarity: the triangle, the lambda, and the rainbow.
